The Editorial Board of MIS believes that rapid dissemination of these data is the necessary foundation for analysis that leads to mechanistic insights.

MIS, published by the Starling Science Publications, meets the critical and growing need of the immunology community for rapid review and publication of important results in all areas of Infection, Immunity, and Inflammation.

MIS offers the opportunity to publish the puzzling finding or to present unpublished results that may not have been submitted for review and publication due to a perceived lack of a potential high-impact finding.

Journal of Microbiology and Immunological Studies, is dedicated to providing new insights into the interactions between bacterial, fungal and parasitic pathogens and their hosts and the exchange of knowledge, information, and ideas. Its editorial board members are committed to mentoring future generations of investigators and promoting careers in academic medicine. The I3 publishes, on a bimonthly basis, peer-reviewed articles in the mechanisms of molecular pathogenesis, virulence factors, cellular microbiology, experimental models of infection, host resistance or susceptibility, and the generation of innate and adaptive immune responses, which include:
Original clinical and basic science investigations
Review articles
