Journal of Microbiology and Immunological Studies, is dedicated to providing new insights into the interactions between bacterial, fungal and parasitic pathogens and their hosts and the exchange of knowledge, information, and ideas. Its editorial board members are committed to mentoring future generations of investigators and promoting careers in academic medicine. The MIS publishes, on a bimonthly basis, peer-reviewed articles in the mechanisms of molecular pathogenesis, virulence factors, cellular microbiology, experimental models of infection, host resistance or susceptibility, and the generation of innate and adaptive immune responses. MIS Journal also welcomes studies of the microbiome relating to host-pathogen interactions.
