Abstract

It is estimated that 47 million women go through menopause annually, and by 2030, 1.2 billion women will be post-menopausal. Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) is the medical standard of care in supporting women going through the transition and into their post menopause years. However, many women are opposed to HRT or have contraindications against using it [1]. This case report explores the implementation of a comprehensive dietary intervention and supplementation program to support a post-menopausal woman with promising outcomes as an alternative, natural therapy.
