    Ganghua Tang-Full professor and Doctoral supervisor from Sun Yat-Sen University “Hundred Talents Program”. He earned his Ph.D (MD) in Imaging Medicine and Nuclear Medicine at Peking Union Medical College - Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences. He had two years postdoctoral experience at Shanghai Institute of Applied Physics, the Chinese Academy of Sciences and 1.5 years postdoctoral research experience at the University of Tennessee Medical Center (USA). Since 1998, he has been doing the research works relating to PET radiochemistry and molecular imaging.

He earned his Ph.D (MD) in Gastroenterology at Fourth Military Medical University. He had three years postdoctoral experience and three years Associate Research Scientist experience at Yale University School of Medicine (USA). He has been doing the research works relating to Molecular and Cellular Mechanism of Cancer Metastasis.and Identification of Cancer Bio-marker.

    Kenji Suzuki

    Associate Professor

    Kenji Suzuki, Ph.D. (by Published Work; Nagoya University) worked at Hitachi Medical Corporation, Japan, Aichi Prefectural University, Japan, as a faculty member, and in Department of Radiology, University of Chicago, as Assistant Professor. In 2014, he joined Department of Electric and Computer Engineering and Medical Imaging Research Center, Illinois Institute of Technology, as Associate Professor. He published more than 300 papers (including 110 peer-reviewed journal papers). He is inventor on 30 patents (including 12 granted patents), which were licensed to several companies and commercialized. He published 10 books and 22 book chapters, and edited 12 journal special issues. He was awarded/co-awarded more than 25 grants as PI including NIH R01 and ACS. He served as the Editor of a number of leading international journals, including Pattern Recognition and Medical Physics. He served as a referee for 80 international journals, an organizer of 25 international conferences, and a program committee member of 145 international conferences. He received 25 awards.

He is an Assistant Professor of Physics and Nuclear Medicine at BCC of CUNY, and an Adjunct Professor of Applied Physics at New York University.     Francisco Mesa is a Full-time Professor of Bioengineering at Autonomous University of Baja California. He earned his Ph.D. in Physics (Medical Physics) at University of Guanajuato. He carried out his PhD thesis with research at University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio Cancer Therapy and Research Center, San Antonio, TX, United States; his MSc thesis (Master in Physics) at University of Guanajuato, México; and his Engineering degree at Autonomous University of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. He had a certification from the Advanced Course of Radiological Protection, Radiological Security, at National Institute of Nuclear Investigations (ININ), and one year postdoctoral experience at Autonomous University of San Luis Potosí. More than twenty years of teaching experience. Since 2003, he has been doing the research works relating to radiation, treatment planning, total body irradiation and characterization of Biosystems.

    Dale S. Feldman

    I was born in Chicago, IL and stayed there through college at Northwestern University. My major was BME with a concentration in biomaterials. I continued my education at University of Dayton; strengthening my materials background. My research was on crystal growth in gout, which has kept me interested in the biological response to fibers and particles. I then went to Clemson University to get my Ph.D; studying failure modes of percutaneous devices; which is related to the diameter of the dacron fibers I used for the skin-penetrating device. I then moved to Texas for my first academic job in Bioengineering at Texas A&M. I was at Texas A&M for 4.5 years. I then went to UAB, my current employer and have been here for 31 years. During that time I have been the research advisor for 10 Ph.Ds. and 34 M.S. students who have graduated.

He has provided medical physics expertise to support and facilitate nuclear imaging projects. He is currently a Principal Physicist at the Sidra Medical Research Center, Doha, Qatar. Currently setting up and managing a new Molecular Imaging Service at a greenfield hospital site
