    Dr Joseph Prandota received his Doctor of Medical Sciences degree and PhD degree from Wroclaw Medical University, Poland. He is presently serving as Emeritus Professor of Pediatrics & Clinical Pharmacology, Wroclaw Medical University, Poland. He published 65 peer-reviewed papers as the only or first author, and solved several important scientific/clinical puzzles, such as for example: the peculiar disposition of drugs in cystic fibrosis patients, the dangerous diuretic tienilic acid-coumarin derivatives interaction, the aquarium fish food proteins as the triggering agents in development of autoimmune hepatitis, the possible accumulation of cimetidine after multiple oral doses, the need for calculation of plasma elimination half-life of drugs only after reaching steady-state concentration, and an important role of viral infections in inhibition of xenobiotic metabolizing enzymes leading to development of autoimmune hepatitis.

    Dr. Giuseppe Lanza

    Dr. Giuseppe Lanza is currently working as a Senior Academic Researcher at the University of Catania (Italy). After graduation with honours in Medicine, He was trained at the School of Neurology and got the international PhD at the same University. As visiting Clinical Research Fellow, He further trained at the Department of Neuroscience and Clinical Neurophysiology of the Newcastle University (UK). In 2013 He was selected for a Scientific Fellowship promoted by the European Federation of Neurological Societies (EFNS). From 2013 to October 2018, He worked as a Consultant Neurologist at the “Oasi Research Institute–IRCCS” in Troina (Italy), which is a Collaborating Center of the World Health Organization (WHO). From 2015 to October 2018, I taught Neurology at the University of Enna (Italy). He has authored more than 120 publications in internationally-indexed peer-reviewed Journals and Conferences or Meetings.

    Dr. Alessio Metere

    Dr. Alessio Metere is a General Surgeon specializing in the surgery of the thyroid, parathyroid, and other general surgical procedures. He attended several Italian hospitals and, as Visiting Surgeon, the Columbia University Medical Center of New York. He is also specialized in Clinical Biochemistry and is graduated both in Medicine and Surgery with honors and in Biological Sciences with honors. He worked as Researcher at the Italian Institute of Health (ISS), focusing his field of research on the role of oxidant/antioxidant substances and innovative biomarkers in the thyroid, parathyroid, breast cancers, obesity, COPD and Cardiovascular disease. He is engaged as Endocrine Surgeon at the Department of Surgical Sciences of "Sapienza" at the University of Rome, where he is responsible for the practical medical activities of Degree Course in Medicine and Surgery of the International Medical School. Since completing surgical training, Dr. Metere was subsequently engaged in a Ph.D. at the University of Rome, where he is continuing his research on oxidative stress in thyroid and breast cancer.

    Dr. John Patrick F. Bebawy

    John F. Bebawy, MD is an Associate Professor of Anesthesiology & Neurological Surgery at Northwestern University. His clinical and research interests and expertise relate to Neuroanesthesia, with a focus on interventions that affect cerebral blood flow and cerebrovascular hemodynamics. Dr. Bebawy completed his Anesthesiology residency and Neurosurgical Anesthesiology fellowship training at Northwestern in 2008, where he is currently faculty and Program Director of the Neurosurgical Anesthesiology Fellowship Program.     Prof Helena H Chowdhury

    Helena H Chowdhury, PhD is a molecular biologist and she completed PhD degree in 2002 in Medical faculty, Ljubljana with her major in neuroendocrinology, studying the effect of insulin on adipocytes. Helena H. Chowdhury is currently employed at University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Medicine, Institute of Pathophysiology in Ljubljana as a senior research associate and also at a private company CELICA biomedical, as Head of cells and tissues. On her research and academic path she became an expert in cell cultures and cell manipulations, studying secretory activity of neuroendocrine cells, metabolism of adipocytes and astrocytes, preparation of cell-based anti-cancer vaccines, etc. In recent years, she has devoted most of her time to the clinical trial of the cell-based anti-cancer vaccine for the treatment of hormone-resistant prostate cancer, which was successfully concluded in 2019 and is now preparing to continue with patients with triple-negative breast cancer. At the same time, her research is currently focusing on the metabolism of neurons in Locus coeruleus and their contribution to the development of neurodegeneration. During her carrier she organized numerous scientific events, mainly in the field of physiology. In 2014 she was elected for president of Slovenian Physiological Society.
