About the Journal

The Journal of Clinical Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences is an open access journal which publishes original, peer-reviewed research and review articles on the subject of ophthalmology.

To ensure high-quality contributions from all areas of ophthalmology, separate section editors and editorial boards have been established.

To provide complete coverage of this revolutionary field, The Journal of Clinical Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences will report on relevant technological advances and ethical and regulatory considerations of ophthalmology.

The mission of Journal of Clinical Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences is to disseminate information regarding the study of ophthalmology, to serve as a forum for new ideas and concepts in clinical and experimental ophthalmology research, to foster the evolution of the discipline and to assist medical imaging investigators in their professional endeavours.

The Journal of Clinical Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences is an Open Access journal, and therefore there is a publication charge, which is dependent on the number of pages, in addition to the charge for color figures. This allows work to be disseminated to a wider audience and also entitles the corresponding author to a free PDF, as well as prepublication of an unedited version of the manuscript.
