Acta Ergonomica is an international, peer-reviewed journal publishes original research reports, review papers and communications in the broadly defined field of Human Factors and Ergonomics. The Journal emphasizes originality in all aspects of Ergonomics and Human Factors especially in the design, planning, development and management of technical and social systems for work or leisure, including technical systems, equipment, products and the organisation of work.
Acta Ergonomica publishes original contributions on the specialty sections both theoretical and applied from across the subject, including physical, cognitive, organisational and environmental ergonomics. The Journal publishes four issues per year in March, June, September and December.
All submitted manuscripts are subject to initial assessment by the Editor, and, if found suitable for further consideration, to peer review by independent, anonymous expert referees. Acta Ergonomica follows a single-blind peer-review process to maintain it's international reach and increasing visibility and impact.
